My Last Sunday and Farewell

We had our very last wonderful Sunday worship service on May 29 at Heartland Baptist church. I sang my first Burmese new song called "Jesus Refuge Of Life". I also preached about how God answers our prayers.

 I also gave my testimony and our ministries activities  to Streetsville Baptist Church in Mississauga.
The believers there were so excited to hear what God is doing in Myanmar.
May God blesses for their goodness, kindness and generosity.
I am very thankful to Pastor Jake Steward who invited me to speak at their church.
At Sunday evening, Heartland Baptist Church celebrated farewell for me from 5:30 pm to 9:00pm.

We had a very good time together. We spent our times by asking ( how do I like all the things that I have seen in Canada and what am I going to do back in my home country? ) and answering the questions.
I praise the name of the LORD for giving me lovely families, friends, brothers and sisters for life in Canada.
My six months experiences in Canada is tremendously huge and great. I will never stop praising God for His gracious love to me and will never forget what the Heartland Baptist Church had done for me. It is such a great blessing for me and my people.

May the Heartland Baptist Church or Breakfast Church live long and last forever for the glory of God. May our love and strong relationship last forever for the Kingdom of God.
I will be very much missing you all. It is so hard to accept that we are going to separate for the sake of the Gospel of Christ and His kingdom. It is really true that we are in the imperfect world and the imperfect planet. But when we meet Christ, our Savior whom we believe and serve, there will no longer be any separation from each other.
Again, thank you so much to you all. May God abundantly blesses you all.

Toronto Zoo

Steve, Debbie, Heather, Carley and I went to Toronto in the morning to visit to the Zoo on the 9th of May. Steve took "day off" to bring me to the Zoo.

It has wide enough area for animals and clean environment for the people who come to watch them.We saw all kinds of animals from around the world. The animals are very healthy.
We had lunch together at the middle of the day. Just before we went back home we bought gifts which have the Toronto Zoo's sign or seal for remembrance.
Thanks to Steve and his family for bringing me to the Zoo. May God Bless them.
I also had a supper together with Gary and his family members. I was so happy to meeet with brother Rob and his family from Mosoone.

 

He Is The Answer Of My Life (My Twelveth New Song)

HE IS THE ANSWER OF MY LIFE

1. I cry out aloud for the answer of my life.
    Life is so complicated; No one can convince me.
    I seek the answer of life throughout sleepless ngihts.
   Asking for the One who can rescue me.

Preaching At Karen Baptist Church in Hamilton On Mother Day

After we had a great worship service at Heartland Baptist Church in Brampton, Gary and I went to Karen Baptist Church in Hamilton.

The Karen believers in Hamilton were very kind. They love the LORD with their heart. Gary also gave a short message.
As it was a Mother Day, I preach about the great mothers of faith from the Bible who taught their children the Word of God since their childhood.

Elder Hsa Law Eh is one of my best friends whom pastor Rudy helped me connected. He translated our English preaching into Karen language. He also helped me sold all the scarves at their church.

Myanmar Water Festival 2011

Myanmar official religion is Buddhist. Water festival is one of the most important and popular ceremonies for Buddhist in Myanmar.

They always hold this important Buddhist religious ceremony on April 12 to 16 every year. It is 6 days ceremony. For them, It is washing away all their sins that they had made for the whole year. It is almost like baptism for Chiristian believers. But for us, baptism is a sign of the inner change.

The truth is that our sins canno be washed away by water. If it can wash, we will not need God's help anymore. Water is only useful to wash away the dirties on our body. It's nothing to do with our spirit.

Some believers were waiting to take pictures with me after the service. I really appreciated and liked to take pictures with them for rememberance. Pictures help me to remember my old and new friends especially when I like to pray for them.
Thak you so much to Saya Lian and his wife Sian, Saya Boih and her two daughters, Lynda Hnem, Iang Ku, Pu Kio and Pastor Muang, for taking pictures and sending them to me by emails.

I am so excited to meet again all the believers there to enjoy together in the Word of God and sharing what God has stored for us in Christ. If the Lord let us live, I will be ministering to them  from April 22-25.

At Chin Baptist Church Kitchener ( Apirl 17th,2011 )

Gary, Wendy and I went to Chin Baptist Church at Kitchener after worship service at Heartland Baptist Church.

The three of us had a great privilege to give our testimonies. CBC church's leaders and all the members are very kind, humble and friendly believers. Today was a very special day for Kitchener CBC's women group. They led the service and four of them gave short messages about how women are so important in the family and the church. The following is briefly about their messages;
They are the most important persons to raise up a better generation for the church, nations and the world.
Every person likes the latest model of products nowadays. Woman is the lastest model among what God created. God did not created them to be ignored or to be oppressed. But to share  love, joy and right together with man. Therefore, they also play the important parts in raising a christian family, community and church.

Demonstrating How to wear Lungyi

We had a great time with some pastors and pastors' wives today having fellowship and praying together for various prayer requests.

I also had a great previlege to meet Jake Stewart and Steve, my new friends and brothers in Christ.

I was demonstrating to them how to wear a Lungyi Burmese cultural dress which is very important to know if one is trying to reach a Burmese who is not a Christian.

The following picture is one of my co-workers wearing a Lungyi while preaching the Gospel to the Burmese people.
They keep contacting and preaching the Gospel to the unbelievers while I am away. Their numbers recently increased as God brought people to Christ through their preaching and gatherings,.
They also updated me that they always pray in fasting on every Tuesday of the week for my short trip in Canada, all the believers who stand with us and all our ministries activities that God has appointed us to do and lead.

JESUS CHRIST IS THE LORD ( My Eleventh New Song) April 9th,2011

1. Jesus Christ is the LORD. He is the only living God.
    He is the author of every life on earth.
   He is the light of the world.
   The giver of light to those whose lives are in darkness.

Chorus: Jesus Christ, Son of God; We lift Your Name on high;
            Your power reigns with love. Your glory fills all the earth.
            You are LORD.
            Forever, You are LORD;  Blessed be your Holy Name.
            Faithful God of my life; May You always be the LORD of my life.

    Praying for those who believe in Him.
