Here I am; Send Me! ( My seventh new song )

Here I am, Send Me
Romans 10:14-15; Isaiah 6:8; Matthew 9:37; Exodus 4:10-12.

1. Open your spiritual eyes and ears.
    Thousands of souls are crying for help.
    Their lives are perishing every moment.
    Their souls are crying for the way to salvation.

Chorus: How can they call on the one whom they have not believed?
             How can they believe One whom they have not heard?
             How can they hear without someone preaching to them?
             LORD, here I am; send me to preach your Word.

2. Look at the spiritual field of God.
   The harvest in the field is plentiful;
   But the workers are so few.
   Pray to the LORD to send more workers.

3. Moses said to the LORD, mighty God;
   I am slow of speech and tongue.
   But the LORD said, I'll help you speak;
   And will teach you what to do and say.

The Secret of Daniel's Life ( Part III )

We had mentioned that Daniel prayed 3 times a day. But he did not pray 3 times a day just because he was a very free man. He was a very busy man much more than you and me saying or complaining all the times " I am so busy" to pray or to go the church. Daniel is one of the chief officers of the Babylonian king. He was entrusted with all kinds of works and tasks by the King because he was exceptionally gifted and talented with all kinds of knowledge and wisdom by the God whom he faithfully worshipped and pray to. The king was just seating on his throne, but Daniel is the true person who always gave the best ideas to organize and manage the Kingdom of Babylonian. Even though he was such a busy man, he still prayed 3 times a day. Don't complain that you are so busy to spend your time with God. Otherwise, Daniel will one day ask you when you meet with him in heaven, "How can you say that you don't have time for God because you are so busy? I was much busier than you when I was on earth. But I still prayed 3 times a day."

Let's see the way he prayed to God and learn something good from him.

Daniel 9 : 4-19 " I prayed to the LORD my God and confessed. O, Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps his covenant of love with all who love him and obey his commands. We have sinned and done wrong. We have been wicked and have rebelled, we have turned away from your commands and law. We have not listened to your servants the prophets, who spoke in your name to our kings, our princes and our fathers and all the people of the land....Now, our God, hear the prayers and petitions of your servant... Give ear, O God, and hear, open your eyes and see the desolation of the city that bears your Name. We do not make request of you because we are righteous, but because of your great mercy. O Lord, forgive, O Lord, hear and act. For your sake, O my God, do not delay, because your city and your people bear your name"

Daniel did not begin his prayer by asking LORD give me this and that .... help me, help me....It is very interesting the way he brought his prayers and petitions to God.

The first step : He started his prayer by describing and confessing the true identities of God such as how great and awesome God He is and  also how faithful God He is  those who obey Him. (So, never forget to confess who God is and how great and awesome He is. Believe and confess that nothing is impossible with God.)

The second Step : He confessed the sins for all his people. He didn't hide anything from God. He understood that they were in the wrong position before God and asked for forgiveness. (Never try to hide anything from God. Bring all your sins, the sins of your family and of your friends and nations before the LORD..Because that is the point God is going to say " I already forgive you". If you don't confess your sins from the least one to the biggest, that will eat your inner man like a cancer does to the inner of a human body.)

The third Step : He confessed that he and his people were not worthy or deserve to be forgiven but he requested this just because God is a merciful God.Daniel also confessed that it is not God's will that the city and people who bear His name were suffering or put to shame among the other nations, otherwise they would blame the Holy name of God. Therefore, people would fear God for He has shown mercy to His people who bear His name. (Always remember that it is not God's will to put you into shame. He want to restore your life, lift you up and put you at the top of the head, not at the tail.)

Dear LORD; you are a great God, Creator of heaven and earth. Nothing is impossible with you. We thank you that you are a faithful God while we always become unfaithful to you.

Father God, we confess our unbelief about your care and presence with us while we are in very hard times in our lives and when we are supposed to trust in You for what You said and promised to us.

We confess all our sins that we make with our thoughts, words and deeds before You. Please forgive us all our sins through the unchangeable love and mercy that you have in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Please don’t  put us in shame among the people who don’t accept You and know You. Please bring transformation to our people and nations through your mighty Word.

Please make your mighty Name known to all the people through our lives.

Father God, your children, whom You bought with Your own blood, are waiting for the mighty power of your hands.

We pray this not because we are righteous, but because of your great mercy.

In Jesus' Name we Pray! Amen!

Blessings,
William.

The Secret of Daniel's Life ( Part II )

Daniel 9:1-2 records “In the first year of Darius son of Xerxes(a Mede by descent), who was made ruler over the Babylonian kingdom, in the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, understood from the Scriptures, according to the word of the LORD given to Jeremiah the prophet, that the desolation of Jerusalem would last seventy years."

Daniel not only has a prayer life, but also loves to read the Word of God. Reading the Word of God and prayer are two things that must go together in a believer’s life. They are like a coin, so that your spiritual life can grow properly

He prayed not just only to fulfill the requirement of the prayer’s task. He never took prayer lightly. Whenever he prayed, he prayed with his heart. He even prayed by fasting.
Daniel  9: 3,” So I turned to the Lord God and pleaded with Him in prayer and petition, in fasting, and in sackcloth and ashes”.

Prayer in fasting is very important for a believer. It gives us strength for our spiritual lives and gives us power to overcome the desires of our flesh. When we are ignorant about prayer in fasting as a believer (leader of a church), our faith begins to waver and we are afraid to continue to carry the spiritual tasks that our Savior has entrusted us to accomplish. Finally, it leads us to say, "I can’t, we can’t." When we willingly spend our time with God in fasting, we feel the presence of God. We are clothed with His power and all the things that makes us worry disappear. This doesn’t mean that God loves us more than others because we are fasting. But the result of fasting in prayer is incredible blessing, power and amazing life and ministry. It can only be fully understood by those who practice and experience this personally.

Jesus himself practiced fasting prayer in His ministry. The apostle Paul practiced it as did other apostles and early Christian believers. Prayer in fasting and reading the Word of God are the secret of my success in ministry.

If one can do the same in his or her life or ministry, he or she is in the Bible School of the Holy Ghost. There is no other better Bible school than this in the world.

1Corinthians 2:11For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man’s spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.”

My Time on Sunday (23JAN 2011)

We had another great Sunday worship service this morning at the Breakfast Church. Sara led praise and worship songs. Gary,Steve and Chris also taught and preached. I also sang my sixth song that I wrote just last night.

After the service, Steve and his family brought me to Shopper World to buy some electronics for his parents. After we met his parents, we went to a restaurant called Boston Pizza. We had a big lunch together. Steve and I ate Spaggetti and meats balls. It was very delicious. I could not finish mine because it was a very big meal. I brought half of it to home in a container. May the blessings of God be upon Steve's family!

We also bought different kinds of small fish for Steve's home. Among these, I liked the blue flock of fish. They are lovely and beautiful.

I also play Wii by myself. I like to play Archery and table tennis.

Thanks to all for a great day! Praise God!

Blessings,
William.

The Secret of Daniel's Life ( Part I )

Daniel 6:10  " Now Daniel learned that the decree had been published, he went home to his upstairs room where the windows opened toward Jerusalem. Three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed, giving thanks to his God just as he had done before."

What was happening in Daniel’s life time taught many great things and life applicable lessons for the believers today. God let His people Israel and their kings becomes slaves whenever they sinned against Him or boasted proudly before Him. Likewise, If believers and leaders today don’t respect God and His Word in our lives, we will become slaves to the world and its wealth. Other kinds of unexpected difficulties and hardness will increase in our lives,.

The meaning of Daniel's name is “The LORD is my judge”.

In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah (about BC 605), Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon came to Jerusalem and besieged it. Even though Daniel was still a young man, he was caught as a slave and sent to Babylon with others.

When he arrived in this pagan world where nobody knew God. His name was changed by the Babylonian Chief officer to Belthesazar meaning "messenger of their goddess." They tried to influence him and change him, not only his belief but also his name. But Daniel was not afraid the king's authorities who can only kill the body. He rather feared and respected the heavenly God who can kill both body and soul. He knew that God alone is the King of all kings, the LORD of all lords. So, Daniel let God be the judge in his life.

Brothers and sisters, let God be our judge wherever we go or whatever we do in our daily lives.

When Martha tried to judge Mary before Jesus Christ in the Newtestament, she was rebuked. Jesus never teaches us to judge others. Mary was not just sitting in the sight of Jesus. She carefully listened to the Word of God and rested peacefully in the LORD.

Psalm 37 : 7 teaches us “Be still before the LORD and wait patently for Him….”

Don’t be satisfied with the congratulations of people, denominations or organizations. Let the meaning of Daniel’s name function well in our lives. Let us continue to stand firm in the truth that made us free and humble ourselves with prayerful lives wherever we are and whatever we do.

Daniel and his friends could willingly say that they would not defile themselves with ungodly things. It is so easy to be a believer in the church. The word “faith” is related to “faithfulness”. A faith that is not faithful and changing depending on the circumstance and situations can never be a true faith. A true believer of Christ cannot change from the lamp of God in the church to the wolf while he is outside the church. We always are the true lamp of God. We can never change depend on our circumstances. We cannot take off our salvation through faith in Christ, like we put on and take off our jackets all the time if we really are  true believers in Christ.

Let’s show our faith and faithfulness by abiding in the Word of God and adore Him in whatever we do.

The results and benefits of abiding in God’s word and adoring Him alone are as the following;
Daniel and his friends were strong and handsome. They looked healthier and better nourished than any young men who ate the royal food. God also gave them knowledge of all kinds of literature and learning. Moreover, Daniel could understand visions and dreams of all kinds. It is not because they ate vegetables. They received all those gifts and talents by the time they were abiding in the Word of God. If we are also abiding in the Word of God and fearing Him , He can cloth us with those gifts and talents as He did to Daniel and his friends.

Proverb 22: 4 teaches us that “Humility and the fear of the LORD bring wealth and honor and life”.

I personally believe that what gave Daniel a good life and strength in his faith is his prayer life. He always spent his time with God by praying three times a day. Eventhough the Bible does not tell us exactly, I think that Daniel would pray once in the morning, another time at noon and another time in the evening. As he prayed three times a day in this way, the temptation could never over come his life.

Unlike Daniel, believers today are not praying much each day. Some believers don’t pray at all. Therefore, when temptations come in our lives, we fail to overcome them.

Jesus knew that the only way to overcome the temptation is through prayer. He became a good example to us regarding a prayer life. He said to His disciples “Pray that you will not fall into temptation". How can we overcome temptation without having a prayer life?

As Daniel’s prayer life gave glory to God in the midst of the paganism who never heard about the living God, let us have daily prayer lives so that we will be able to bring glory to God in our villages, cities and communities. Prayer is our best tool, armor and equipment to make our inner man stronger and stronger while we are fighting for our faith in Christ on this earth.

Prayer can open heavenly blessings for us. It also makes our faith strong and gives us opportunity to draw near to God to bring  peace and joy life in our daily lives. Moreover prayer can transform the nations and change the hearts of the people in the way God wants them to be; so that He can bless them.

Let’s make our own faith strong in God first by prayer and then pray for the nations that need transformation. God is ready to answer our prayer!

May Daniel’s prayer life come into our life too.

Blessings,
William.

Taking The Bus with Ron and Today's News Update!

Ron and I tried to figure out how to take the bus in Brampton with the help of Sara. First we went to the Shopper's World terminal by bus number 53A  and took bus number 53B to go back home.

The next day, the 20th of January, we went to his center (the community center at 13 Fisherman).There was no direct bus, so we changed the bus twice. We are supposed to get off at the Fisherman bus stop, but we got off at Bovaird Dr bus stop. We walked from there to the Fisherman bus stop and to the community center. It took us more than 30 minutes walking in the freezing cold in the morning. But it was a great day and a great experience for both of us.

As I was going to be late the credit valley Pastors meeting, I called Gary who picked me up at the Shopper's World Terminal. We had a really good time to talk with pastors and leaders including youth leaders in different churches.
After that since Gary was flying  toVancouver, Wendy and I dropped him off at the Toronto airport.

That evening, we had a prayer meeting at Sara and Chris house. We prayed one after another for Myanmar, for believers to remain in their faith and their difficulties will teach them to depend more on God and their faith will grow more and more. We prayed for the orphans that brother Richard leads. We also prayed for every family and friend in the Breakfast church that they will continue to fight the good fight for their faith in Christ and overcome the world and its way of lust and corruptions.

Praise God that we have a living hope in Christ, that can never perish nor expire.

Teaching about the only living hope that man can pursue in his life!

Italian Restaurant With Penny and Brandon

After we had a great worship service and the Lord's Supper at the Break Fast Church, Penny Spears and her son Brandon took me to East Side Mario and Wal-Mart shopping center.

It is a wonderful Italian Restaurant where I ate all kinds of food as much as I can. There is no food menu. We just picked what we liked. I asked Penny how we can know how much  the cost for the food was. She replied that the price was already set. I began to understand that if I eat a little, we loose the money. So, I got up again with Brandon and picked different kinds of food. I think this is the first time that I have eaten a lot of food at one time.

After lunch, we continued  to Wall-Mart where they sell all kinds of things. As we looked around, I saw a very nice chair and said, "Wow! this chair is very nice, I like this kind of chair". Penny immediately said to me if I liked it she would buy if for me. I replied "Hmm yes!" She said we will get it when we are ready to go out. It is really comfortable to sit when I play my guitar and write some new songs. She also bought a new microphone and shampoo for me.

Penny and Brandon a new friend and brother of mine in Christ,do this not because they have more than enough, but only because they love the LORD.

May God Bless them more than one hundred times for what they spent on me and provide all their needs ( the smallest to the biggest) as they love Him and humble themselves to His guidance.

Brother Brandon said he would like to be a successful electrician in the coming future. May God fulfill his goal and use him for His own glory!

Blessings,
William.

The Next Paragraph of the Last Post

Many thought that they are very bad; they have very dirty lives and God will not accept them. But the fact is that God loves everyone with the same level regardless of who they are. He sent Jesus Christ to the earth to save the sinners, not the righteous. Only the sick people need a doctor. Nobody on the earth is good, holy and worthy to get the favour and love of God. Sometimes, we wrongly think we can receive the Love of God if we are good enough.
His Love can only be gained by His Grace.  But you also need to know you are a sinner and you need to repent of your sins; just stop doing them and replace them with the love of God in your life.

Many are trying to get righteousness by their good deeds. But the fact is that it is impossible for human to be right and pure all the time. Job 15 :14-16 records “ What is man that he could be pure, or one born of woman, that he could be righteous. If God places on trust in his holy ones, if even the heavens are not pure in his eyes, how much less man, who is vile and corrupt, who drink up evil like water.”

The Bible says that if you break one commandment out of 10, then you break the whole law. Our deeds may be good sometimes but what about our speeches and thoughts? The Word of God says that if you think you are pure and righteous person, then you lie to yourself. We know ourselves. We cannot lie to God and ourselves. Here is Job 25: 4-6  “ How then a man be righteous before God? How can one born of woman be pure? Even the moon is no bright and the stars are not pure in his eyes, how much less than man, who is but a maggot – a son of man, who is only a worm."

If so, what shall we do? Well! The answer is that God never request good deeds for your own salvation; otherwise you will boast to Him. He only requests your trust (faith) in Him. He only needs your heart, but not your outward appearance.

He loves you so much. He knew that you will never pursue the perfect righteous life by your own good deeds.

He already prepared the way of Salvation for you since 2000 years ago through Jesus Christ, even before you took the first step of your life. I am sure that you were not born yet 2000 years ago. That means He already saved you even before you breathed your first breath on this earth, so that you have no way to boast yourself.

Don’t try to make it hard. Don’t try to think it is hard. Just surrender yourself to God and accept what He has done for you. This is the only way you can get eternal life. It is a free gift given to you by God by shedding the precious blood of Christ on the Cross for your sins and my sins.

Blessings,
William.

We All Are Included In The Tree of Jesus' Family

While Matthew started his recording of the genealogy of Jesus Christ from Abram to Joseph, Doctor Luke started his recording from (Joseph to Abraham and to Adam ). He traced the family tree of Jesus in a deeper way, so that you and I can be included. Moreover, Luke also clearly and truly demonstrated that Adam is the son of God. (Luke 3).

The following is how he recorded the family tree of Jesus Christ, your only Savior;

“Joseph son of Heli,…..Zerubababel son of Shealtiel….David son of Jesse,….Judah son of Jacob, the son of Isaac, son of Abraham….Noah son of Lamech, the son of Mathuselah, the son of Enoch, the son of Jared, the son of Mahalalel, the son of Kenan, the son of Enosh, the son of Seth, the son of Adam. And Adam is the son of God”.

Adam was the father of all human kind in the entire world.  That means you and I are the descendants of Adam. If Adam is the son of God, we are also the children of God.

Whether you accept it or not, your beginning is from God and He is your Heavenly Father.

Genesis 2:7 “ The LORD God formed the man (Adam) from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.”

I use this Bible verse almost all the time when I preach the Gospel to the un-reached people who never hear that there is a living God who createg us. While some people can easily understand it, other cannot. I sometimes strongly speak to them that if they don’t believe in God who first created them and gave them the breath of life, don’t breath anymore. It is of God. If you are the one who breathes the breath of life from your nostril then you are owned by God. You must except Him. If God takes back what is in you, what will you do?

Many people think that they are not concerned or related with the Christian God. They just worship different kinds of gods as they like. Many think they became human from Monkeys (evolutionism). But the fact is that Monkeys can only give birth to Monkeys. Humans give birth to the same human kind. God is the Father and Author of every creatures including human beings.

Romans 14:11 It is written, "As surely as I live, says the LORD, every knee will bow before me; every tongue will confess to God”.

Philippians 2:10 “that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Chris is LORD, to the glory of God the Father.”

The next paragraph will continue soon.....

My time with Brother Howie Johnson

I had a really good time to talk and fellowship with one of my new friends and brother in Christ, Howie Johnson. He has a very nice family.I also met his son. I learned that his house is far from the Break Fast Church. But he faithfully comes to the church. His commitment to worship God and find God's favor encourage me a lot. I pray that God will continue to use his life to inspire the church (believers).

He took me to the movie (theater) center on January 12th.  He chose the best movie called The Chronicles of Narnia. The author of the story is Lewis. It is related to what Christians believe. A group of people confront different kinds of hardness and temptation. They overcome all of them by the help of the mighty Father God.

The movie screen is much bigger than those in houses. And they also provide special 3D glasses that make the film (movie) closer and bigger to the audience. Sometime, I felt I was participating in the movie. Even though, I knew it was just a movie, It still seemed like that their swords were going to hurt me when they fight each other.....

The Chronicles of Narnia is a series of seven fantasy novels for children and is considered a classic of children's literature. Written between 1949 and 1854 and illustrated by Pauline Bayenes, the series is Lewis's most popular work, having sold over 100 million copies in 41 languages (Kelly 2006) (Guthmann 2005). It has been adapted several times, complete or in part, for radio, televetion, stage and cinema.

A Lesson From The Christmas Tree

I had the great privilege to decorate a real Christmas tree with Steve and his family on December 12. It was really beautiful. We decorated it to look nice as much as possible, putting different kinds of things on it.

At that time, I was wondering why we were decorating a Christmas Tree. I understood that it was because the Christmas season is coming. So, what was to happen in the Christmas season? The answer is that “The Savior of the world was born on earth during the Christmas season.

Let’s take a look at what the Bible teaches us.

The Gospel of Matthew, Chapter one, gave us the Tree of Jesus Christ (genealogy of Jesus = the tree of Jesus). This Scripture portion is one the most boring verses in the Bible. Many people just pass it by because it recorded all the names.

The first reason why Matthew recorded the genealogy in his very first chapter is that he addressed the JEWISH people. Jews were strongly devoted to their fore-fathers through which the Messiah will come they believed.

Matthew mentioned the tree of Jesus from Abraham….to David and to Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom Jesus was born.

He listed different kinds of people including bad women.

Jewish people did not count the names of women in their numbers.

  1. Abraham is not a perfect man either. He was called a liar in Gen 12 and 20.
  2. David was not a good person either. He killed Uriah and took his wife. I Samuel 11 and 12.
  3. Tamar was the one who pretended to be a prostitute to lie with her husband’s Father (Judah) and gave birth to Perez and Zerah. Gen 38.
  4. Rahab was a prostitute  by the time Israelites passed over Jericho to enter the Promise land. Joshua 2 and 6.
  5. Ruth was the Moabite (Gentiles were not God’s people).
  6. Mary was a poor and simple woman in her time.

These bad people were hanging on the tree of Jesus Christ. Through their genealogy Jesus Christ was born.

This showed us that God loves the sinners. No matter how bad you are or who you are God does love you. He wants to live in you and protect you from all kinds of evils and dangers.

As we put different kinds of things on a Christmas tree at Steve house, there are different kinds of people hanging on Jesus’ tree. Jesus is our main stem. We, the people are just the leaves on the branches. If we do not connect with the main stem we can not survive at all.

Have you met with the original owner and source of life that you live today? If not, just invite Him into your heart; you will automatically be connected to the main stem of your life that is Jesus Christ. He will give you peace and joy in your life. In Him alone, you can find the true rest for life.

If you think that you are missing something in your life, I can boldly tell you that is Jesus.

He is the answer for your life!

Blessings,
William.

My Fourth New Song

The Power Of The Holy Spirit is The Promise Of God!
Joel 2:28-32; Luke 24:49 ; Acts 1:4,5,8; Acts 2; 8:4-25

1. God's Word came to the prophet Joel;
   "In the very last day, I'll pour out my spirit on all the people.
   Your sons and daughters will give prophesy.
   Your young men will see vision and your old men will dream dreams.

 Chorus:The power of the Holy Spirit is the promise of God.
              Have you got and received it in your life???
              It's a free gift for everyone who is eager and longs for.
              It's a promise for those who believe in Christ.

2. Jesus gave command to all his disciples;
    to preach the Gospel to the end of the earth; But He asked them to wait;
    the power from above that will equip their faith;
    to win the lost souls and make disciples for Jesus Christ.

3. Peter was afraid to witness to a little girl;
   He denied Jesus, even three times before the rooster crowed.
   But when he was filled with the power from above;
   He boldly stood up and preached the Gospel with power and love.

Chorus : His life was totally changed; He gave his life for Christ.
            He healed the sick; brought back many to Jesus.
            To live his life for the world is unworthy for him.
            He was nailed on the tree upside down for Christ.

4. When Philip proclaimed Christ with power in Samaria;
   They were baptized both men and women in Jesus Christ's name.
   When the Apostles heard the news at Samaria;
   Peter and John were sent to make sure what's going on there.

Chorus : Peter and John found out their lack of the power.
            For they simply were baptized in the name of Jesus.
            While Peter and John prayed for them and laid their hands on them;
            they received the Holy Spirit in their lives.

Repeat Verse 2 and Chorus..........

At Eaton Centre in Toronto with CAM

Cam picked me up in the morning of January 3rd. We went to the Allan Gardens Park and Toronto Botanical Garden library to find some information about a medical plant in Myanmar. Those places are very nice and beautiful.

Eaton Centre

We also went to the Eaton Centre with a lot of floors where I could see many people working and shopping. It was the biggest shopping center I've ever seen. We almost got lost because it is too big and wide. All the Exits and Entrances look almost the same.

There are many restaurants inside the Eaton Centre from around the world. Every food looks good to taste. We walked around to see the best food that we should try. Finally, we chose Chinese food, chicken with orange, pork with orange, beef and fried rice.

Having lunch at Eaton Center taken by CAM

CAM has been helping me a lot and giving me good ideas. I pray that God will bless him more than one hundred times for what he spent on me.

Blessings,
William.
